Dear all,

As I step into this voluntary role as Project Management Institute (PMI) Singapore chapter President for the term 2025-2026, I am reminded of the words of US 26th President Theodore Roosevelt “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” Today, we stand at the intersection of challenge and opportunity — where the hard work of project management meets the evolving macroeconomic & technology advancement.

PMI Singapore chapter has rooted in Singapore for 25+ years and it has 2500+ active local members now. It's one of the largest PMI chapters in Asia Pacific and also one of the largest non-for-profit organizations in Singapore.

From Professional Development to Mentoring program, from corporate outreach to student outreach, from Project of the Year to annual Symposium. Our journey won’t be easy. Change never is. But if we harness the collective expertise, passion, and grit of this chapter, there’s no limit to what we can achieve and engage with you. Where others might see constraints, we’ll see possibilities. Because in the end, “The best way to predict the future is to create it” (Abraham Lincoln).

I am grateful for all your trust on me to serve PMI Singapore chapter as the President in the new term. I am also thankful for outgoing entire chapter Executive Committee with the leadership of Immediate Past President and PMI Asia-Pacific whole team’s wonderful effort in the past years to make where we are today.
Congratulations to all the Executive Committee and extended team members elected this term.
Stay tuned for our upcoming engagement with you all — your voice will shape our roadmap.

With gratitude,
Frankie Shuai
