Daryl heads the Cybersecurity Consulting practice in KPMG Singapore, focusing on Cybersecurity, Cyber Incident Response, IT Risk Management, Business Resilience, Outsourcing Risk & IT Transformation. He has 21 years experience in global and regional leadership roles in Australia and Asia, where he worked in the banking, government and consulting industries.

He has advised clients on cybersecurity (e.g. Cyber Framework design, ISO27000 series, NIST, SANS Top 20, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing), IT regulatory compliance (e.g MAS TRM, HKMA TRM), IT Governance (COBIT), data protection (e.g. IAM, DLP, crypto), IT process optimisation (ITIL), project risk management (e.g. PMBOK), outsourcing risk management & vendor governance (e.g. OSPAR), and systems resiliency (BCM, DR, crisis management).

Daryl previously worked at Deutsche Bank as Head of PMO & Program Governance for Global Banking IT covering 120 programs worth €500M. Prior to this he was COO Business Manager for Investment Banking IT responsible for running IT Security Governance, Risk and Regulatory covering 2800 staff in 18 countries. Daryl has also worked at Deutsche Bank as Asia-Pacific Head of IT Audit, and at Westpac Bank as Group IT Audit Manager where he established and headed the IT Audit function. He started his career as an IT Consulting Manager with PwC and EY in Australia and assisted clients with projects concerning IT security, project governance, technology risk and controls.
