Webinar: How to Align Your Stakeholders and Solve Your Biggest Project Problems

“Stakeholders are not aligned on what they want,” “key stakeholders are disengaged,” “the people on your project also work on other projects” – these are common challenges project managers face.

Once you have mastered the foundational PM skills, to advance your career you need to master people skills, especially in the area of stakeholder management. You want to get to the place where, when senior managers cannot reach an agreement, they pull you into the meeting to help them achieve alignment. That’s how you advance and succeed in your PM career.

In this session, be introduced to a framework for doing just that – aligning your stakeholders to solve their biggest project problems.

Objectives

In this interactive session, learn the steps to:

1. Identify all your stakeholders;

2. Write use cases from each stakeholder’s perspective;

3. Group all the stakeholder challenges;

4. Prioritise stakeholder challenges;

5. Discuss various approaches;

6. Align around a solution your stakeholders can support.

Learning Outcomes

As a result of this session, you can return to your workplace with the skills to:

  • Pivot your stakeholders from focusing on divergent approaches to converging on common challenges;

  • Help stakeholders align around prioritised challenges;

  • Move your stakeholders towards a decision the group can support.
