This expands to the need for being liked and becoming a person of influence. This talk explores both the neuroscience and behavioural sciences insights into people dynamics and how engagement is best achieved.In this session, global behavioural expert Todd Hutchison will share:

• The psychology behind motivational models;
• What powers of influence exist and how to deal with them;
• The influence of behavioural styles;
• the importance of timely and clear communications;
• The factors of personal likeability;
• how to build rapport and engage people; and
• the basics of body language.

This will be a practical session exploring leading techniques in creating a powerful insight into increasing your success by understanding the complexity of human behaviour and the importance of effective communications.

 

Speaker's Profile

Todd Hutchison - Peopleistic and Author

Known as the Corporate Mechanic, Todd Hutchison is an international bestselling author, certified speaking professional and global behavioural expert who has worked in over 160 organisations in 13 countries. Todd is recognised in the Who’s Who of Business in Australia, featured in the book Millionaire Mentors as a leading business coach in Asia, and resides in the Business Hall of Fame for project management, recognised in the top 101 industry experts.

He was a former President, National Chairman and global Board Director of the Project Management Institute and the first PMI Fellow in Australia.  He currently resides as the Global Chairman of the International Institute of Legal Project Management with certified lawyers in 35 countries.

Specialised in team performance that is critical for business and project success, Todd is progressing a PhD in team synergy, and resides on the international Board of Directors of the Project Management Institute. He is the Global Chairman and CEO of Peopleistic, an international company with offices in Australia, the Unites States, and the United Kingdom that has the vision to be recognised as a world-leader in getting business results through developing purposeful people. Todd is also the Chairman of the Business Education Institute, and Film My Video.

Todd holds fellowships with Leadership Western Australia, the Project Management Institute, the Governance Institute of Australia, and the Australian Institute of Management. He also has adjunct positions with Edith Cowan University and Curtin University, and teaches in the MBA program for the Australian Institute of Management and the Masters of Advanced Engineering at Curtin University.

Todd has qualifications in business, information technology, project management, legal, contract management, education and engineering, including a Master of Business Administration from Deakin University and a Master of Commerce Information Systems from Curtin University. He is now progressing a Bachelor of Laws and is also a world champion in music.
