Webinar: PMBOK Guide 7th Edition 2021 - Changes - Impact
Welcome both PMI-PMP certified and those who are looking to become PMPs.
This session will give you a profound overview about history and development of the PMBOK Guide and the impact on certification and training. Additionally, there are also impacts to companies and we will have a look on these too.
“A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge” is the world’s most famous description about methodological approach to Project Management.
In its 7th edition from August 2021 of the PMBOK Guide (as usually referred to by the community), the methodological approach changed in a tremendous way. The reasons for this change arose from change of mindset in the market, from the needs of community of Project Manager and the industry.
Independent, but with a timely cohesion also in 2021, the syllabus for the PMI-PMP® examination has changed. This syllabus, called “Examination Content Outline” or “ECO”, also addressed the change of needs by making sure certified project managers fulfil the promises of a certification in a better way.
And last, but not least, the system of R.E.P. (Registered Education Provider) changed to A.T.P. (Authorized Training Partner).
Current information about PMP can be found on PMI.org.
