The agile approach is gaining increasing importance in project management. The collaborative and adaptive nature of agile methodologies can help reduce the overhead of development, including documentation, upfront planning, and controls on development. It focuses on frequent delivery of working software, featuring a continuous interaction with customers, and paying great attention to the human factor in a project environment. It is able to produce business value early in the project lifecycle and is more responsive in dealing with changing user requirements than the traditional methods of project management.

This 1-day PMI-ACP Bootcamp is intended for those who are interested to learning the agile methodology. It is also for those who want to prepare themselves for the PMI-ACP certification exam.

Key Takeaways

At the end of the course, the participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the Agile Manifesto and Principles
  2. Understand the basics of common agile frameworks such as SCRUM, XP, Lean and KANBAN
  3. Apply agile techniques in requirements definition, story point estimation, iterative planning and execution, retrospectives, and more
  4. Become familiar with the requirements and process for PMI-ACP® certification

Intended Audience

Project Managers, and anyone from product developer to senior management, who has already used agile practices, or whose organization is adopting agile methods, including those who want to obtain the PMI-ACP® certification.
