Webinar: Optimising Agile by Remote Ways of Working – Panel Discussion

Optimising Agile by Remote Ways of Working – Panel Discussion

Co-location has always been considered as the best way to propagate agile practices among teams and programs. Year 2020 has forced all of us to retrospect if we need to evolve from the learnings and practices that were established few decades ago.

Having said that, with social distancing in place for most of the countries, every industry is adapting to the changed way of working. With the experiments to challenge the status quo, running over a period of six months, we are now at a point in time where we can analyse using real examples that business agility can be achieved beyond co-location.

Key points to be discussed using a case-study approach:

  • Evolving agile practices by replacing co-location with remote ways of working;
  • Is remote agile as effective as co-located: advantages & disadvantages?
  • How to make remote agile work?
  • What have we learnt in past 6 months - lessons & tips.

Learning outcomes:

  • Conclude if remote ways of working is here to stay, should agile enablers change their pitch?
  • Understand the pros and cons of remote/virtual vs co-located agile practices;
  • Explain key best practices for making remote virtual reality work.

Presentation and Discussion Method:
This will be a panel discussion with prepared questions. We will use Zoom and sli.do for questions from the audience.
