Annual General Meeting 2020 | Support the Chapter

The NC did not receive any nominations for the two vacant positions of Honorary Auditor. We are therefore doing an additional call for volunteers to please support the chapter and submit their nominations for this one-year term.

Please utilise the originally prescribed nomination form (download from here) and kindly note that:

• this additional nomination call is only for Honorary Auditor candidates;
• the new deadline for said nomination submission is 7pm on Thursday, 26 March 2020 (SGT);
• instructions are in the file; 
• since we are re-using the form that was originally prescribed by the Executive Committee, do not be alarmed by the previous deadline listed in the file itself;
• any successful candidates will be announced on our website. 

What is more, there were no candidates for the Board of Trustees and there are up to four vacant positions. Given the constitution stipulations in reference to those positions, the Chapter will arrange to make another call specifically for Trustee nominations after the AGM 2020.

2. e-Voting Details

Eligible* members will be sent a personalised email from noreply@votenet.com with their own unique e-voting link / login details after 0.01am on Sunday, 29 March 2020. One can cast their vote upon receipt of their email.

e-Voting is possible until 8.00pm on Tuesday, 31 March 2020 (SGT) and is the only mode to vote.

The results of this vote will be announced by the Election Committee at the AGM itself.

* Anyone with their PMI Singapore Chapter membership valid at 9am on 28 March 2020 and at least until 31 March 2020 is eligible to vote.

5. AGM (online) Location  

Access details were emailed directly to members today (24 March) and will be resent for convenience again closer to the AGM. Understandably, we do not publish such details in public domain.

Kindly note that the 2 Leadership PDUs will be earned only by certified members who pre-register on this page by 30 March 2020 to attend the AGM online and are present. (This is to say that PDUs will not be credited to those who attend the meeting but have not pre-registered - and of course this is applicable only to those who have a PMI certification to maintain.)

We are pleased to announce the final results of the extended nomination process for Honorary Auditor as follows:

• Executive Committee (EC) term 2020-21 nomination form submission deadline was extended in order to find candidates for Honorary Auditor role, the new deadline was Thursday, 26 March 2020.
• Nomination Committee (NC) 2020 received a total two (2) nomination forms by 26 March 2020.
• NC scrutinised the forms in accordance with the SPMI Constitution.
• As a result, one (1) nomination was accepted and one (1) nomination were rejected.
• NC notified unsuccessful candidate separately with reason(s) for rejection.
• The decision of the NC is final.
• NC handed over the final list of successful candidates to the Election Committee 2020 on 27 March 2020 as follows in the table below.
